so tomorrow is my 18th birthday. I'm glad it's finally here. sure, it's just one more year older than 17, but 18 just has a nice ring to it. it makes you sound and feel just that much older. plus, a lot more perks come with being 18 than with 16 or 17. not many I plan on taking advantage of, but nonetheless. I always tell people that the only reason I want to be 18 is that so I can get into 18+ shows. and it's the truth. and my first (technical) one happens to be this Wednesday. I'm not even sure if I'm doing anything for my birthday tomorrow. I hope I wind up making plans. or someone makes them for me. my birthday last year kinda sucked. now, I'm not a big birthday person to begin with. I don't see them as that big of a deal. but maybe because once I started getting older, I never did anything on my birthday anymore. so I guess I have this mindset already. I don't know, I'm looking forward to it still. so we'll see how it goes.
