Shikamaru told me about how these people saved their lives during a mission. A mission to try and get Sasuke back. It's not- it's not fair asking us to cope with this. This isn't our time, these aren't our allies.

Maybe the City will send us home and bring us back after the war. Then we'll be able to say we understand. [Does not sound like he's convinced himself. Those who died during will still be dead.
