[Suddenly steps back and one katon: goukakyu later, where there once was a tree, there is now a felled tree and a burning stump. He watches the flames burn down to embers. Last time he set the forest on fire, Rin came to him.]
"I don’t even know these people, not really. Stupid Obito, trusting people just because they wear the Leaf forehead protector. Just because they’re family."
[Gives up, rests his folded arms against a tree and his forehead slumps against them, raw, bloody fists visible, eyes filling up with tears.]
"Are they just waiting for me to betray them?"
[Glances at the device on the ground, notices it's on. Goes over to shut it off, hastily wiping his eyes, swearing.]
