I read about your problem. I don't think I've been able to duplicate it. I'll take a look into it further tomorrow to see if there's anything I can do on my end.
I suspect it has something to do with being logged into OKCupid. When I am logged in and I take the test, it automatically puts me into an edit mode where I can take a sample test--which tells me that my results will not be saved. If I am not logged in, however, I think I see what you are seeing.
What I see:
There is a page, after you click "That's All", with a heading of: "For statistics and saving your results." At the bottom of that page, it asks you to fill in a screenname. When I chose NOT to fill in that blank, and just clicked the "one last section" button, it took me straight to my results. (My results did not then show up in the "recent results" section where your score from today was listed.) When I filled in "moderatelymad" (my OKCupid sign-in name), it asked me for my zip and some dating-type info. It sort of indicated that I'd be creating a new OKCupid screen name if I responded to the requested info. (So I backed out.)
Have you tried just bookmarking the test itself so you wouldn't have to go back and forth between lj and OKCupid? And then not signing in at OKCupid? (And NOT providing you OKCupid user ID?)

Like I said, I'll poke into it more tomorrow. Let me know what happens if you try to take the test basically-anon, as I'm suggesting above.
