Challenge 21: Hopes and Dreams for 2021
Explanations:
1. the zoo: when this pandemic is over and everything is open again, I want to visit a few more zoos. I only managed one in 2020.
2. the Asclepius staff: I hope for health, not just for me but for the world
3. my car: it broke down on Jan 2nd and while it's fixed now, I really need it to keep working for the rest of the year because repairs are so freaking expensive!
4. books: I love reading, but I read mainly fanfic these days, so this is my dream of finally moving to reduce the "still need to read" pile of books that I own
5. money: let's be real, we all hope to win the lottery one day
6. Grandma: (featuring my actual grandma) covid has been awful for us in terms of being able to visit grandma, so I hope things let up this year and we'll get to see her more
7. sofa: a new sofa is on the list of Things To Buy This Year, so let's hope I'll find a good deal somewhere
8. Food: this represents new recipes. I love cooking but generally I fall back on the same recipes because they're old faves/really easy and quick to make/I can't be bothered to make anything else. But I've been trying to try out new stuff whenever I can and I hope to continue that in 2021.
9. Tea: so a few years ago there was this "chocolate cake tea" that was really delicious, but the company discontinued the flavour. I've resigned myself to never drinking a cup of chocolate cake tea ever again, but I'm still clinging to the hope that they'll bring it back at some point.
10: Writing: I used to write a lot more fanfic than I do these days. I also have a ton of unfinished works that I really need to finish. So my dream for 2021 is to finish a few of them.
