A Woman, A Butterfly and a Farmer
In a lighthouse, there once was a curious woman who couldn’t read. She had always wanted to learn, but because of her incurable blindness she had difficulty understanding the basics of fairytales. Therefore when the local farmer visited her with a book she had to wave her magic spoon to unlock the treasure chest in her parlour.
The farmer raised her eyebrows, “What is this magic before me? I don’t understand what inspired you to do such a thing. Perhaps you should reconsider your priorities. Why not open this book all about spoons.”
The curious woman opened the book. Suddenly, a butterfly appeared. It fluttered for a moment and landed on a silver teaspoon.
Surprised, the farmer quickly reached for her camera and took a picture, while the woman turned to the butterfly, and said “What are you?”
The butterfly fluttered and started to lift into flight watching her every move.
She did laugh a little wondering if she could make her new friend speak. And she did.
