Cycle 3, Challenge 5: In the Mood for Spring

Mar 03, 2020 01:36

Moodboard below the cut.

All photographs are my own.

1. Font for 'SPRING': Zenfyrkalt

2. Font for 'Biking, Rain, Easter': Real Miami / Written over a corkboard.

3. Yellow crocuses on two images.

4. I don't know what the bushes/trees are in these pictures. One was photographed on a sunny day, the other just after rain.

5. Rain is often associated with spring although where I live, autumn is a much rainier season.

6. The middle image on the left hand side (yellow background, white flowers painted) is actually a detail of a bicycle. I never bike during winter so spring means a time when I can start biking again.

7. Below that, there is a tiny image that shows the handle of a jumping rope :). Being able to jump rope outside is also a sign of spring.

8. The small plant image on the top row (next to the colorbar) shows Equisetum. It is a living fossil, which means it is a very old plant, surviving on this planet for at least 100 million years. I call it a 'dinosaur plant' for fun. 🦕

9. Chocolate Easter Eggs on the right.

10. Bottom row has a small (and rather unclear) picture of a flooded forest. Flooding is typical here in the spring after snow melts.
