Ch.3.06 - Try Me!

Mar 05, 2020 01:07

...or Mortyfing tale of amateur attempts at drawing.

I did a few charcoal... thingies when I was child, but that was like 100 years ago, so I decided to try it anew.

Ponders.
I did a lot weird stuff as a child...

I think it came out really well. Charcoal isn't easy. I tried it once and ended up with a mess and used a lot of unladylike words in the process.

Thank you. My hands were soooo black after that. :)

It's gorgeous. Thank you for everything you do for the comm. I hope you can find a way to display your picture somehow. I've done charcoal myself, it's not easy.

Thank you for generous words!
If I ever use charcoal again, I'll try drawing on the other side of a sheet - much less bumpy and probably easier...

It looks really pretty! I love the little reflection of the lighthouse in the foreground there. Super cool.

Wow, for a first attempt (and honestly, in general, I'd never believe it was a first attempt if you hadn't said so), this is amazing! I love how it really looks 3D and uses different colors, I didn't even know you could do that with charcoal. Big kudos!

Thank you! :)
I didn't know charcoal could be brown either - until I opened that chest. ;)

That so good. I love it. The sky is great, really looks cloudy and the reflection is really good too.
