I am overcooked
It feels like it has been ages since i have been on here....guess there has not been much going on lately...
Today it is super hot. It will be over 100 degrees by the time I am driving home from work today. YUCK!!! What really sucks tho is that if I have my AC on my car for to long the car starts to overheat. We checked all the fluids & everything is good so we think its just cuz my car has about 130,000 miles on it. My poor car is getting old. Ah hell it already is old.
In other news....one of my coworkers no longer works here. I know you are dying to know what happened so I will fill you in:
It seems that he was stealing toilet paper & paper towel & shipping them to his house. When he was caught it was just the toilet paper. Can you imagine when someone asks him why he is not working anymore & assuming he is honest he would have to say "oh I was stealing toilet paper." I am sure he will lie & say it was a lay off cuz of the economy. I feel bad that he felt he had to steal that kind of stuff but I also want to say what a ding dong. He should have put the rolls in his back pack. Not that I condone stealing from work but if you are going to do it make sure you wont get caught.
That being said David informed me that he is suppose to go out & help in shipping when ever Brian needs him (the coworker who got fired was the one that also worked in shipping.) This annoys me cuz David already spends a lot of time out there chit chatting with him & I can just see him being out there all the time now. David can really get under my skin tho. He is 24 & has the attitude that he is the shit.
Anyhoo Hubby & I are going to New Orleans in about 2 weeks. I wish I could say I am super excited but the truth is I am more stressed out than excited. With the money situation the way it is we really should not be going at all. We have never taken a vacation like this together & with the issues we have been & are still having I can see why he wanted to do it but the timing sucks. I am sure once I get there it will be a lot of fun but right now I just cant get excited.
My cousin Michael moved here with his wife from Romania. She has never been to the states & although he used to live here he has been in Romania for the past 6 years. He got in touch with me on Facebook & it turns out we have a lot in common. We even listen to the same type of music & he reads comics & he has the same spiritual beliefs that I do.
Hubby & I met him last sat at a coffee place. I had never met him before. His wife speaks English but not very well yet so he has to translate for her. She seems super sweet tho.
Sat I took them to the Vogue. The place was so hot & humid it was insane. Halfway thru dancing to the first song I was dripping in sweat. I managed to dance my ass off tho!!! The music was so good. His wife was a good sport. She was so tired so I offered to take them home at 1:00 & they both wanted to stay till 1:30.
ON the way home my sissy called me & we wound up at Dennys with her & some of her pals. SO it was a late night. It was a good time tho.
Today is Leeya's b-day so I got her this bag & I put this symbol on it. Its the dark hunter symbol which is a series of paranormal romance that we read. She is WAY into these books. She is going to love this bag. I did the symbol in purple (that is her favorite color) & I even was the one who embroidered it. So its that much cooler. I'll give it to her when i see her on Friday & if she knows what is good for her she will LOVE it!!!
Other than that nothing has been going on in my world. I think I will get back to work now...
