First Night Boston

Jan 01, 2007 03:13

Wow, so this was a strange night. I got home from Maine this morning, and called my friend to hang out. She wanted to go downtown for the fireworks, so we headed out into Boston at like 9:30 for a 12:00 show. After wandering around Copley Square and Government Center for a couple hours, we (finally) found the waterfront and started looking around for some cute guys to kiss at midnight. As the fireworks started, this guy came up to us, drunk as a skunk, and started talking to us. He was apparently in Iraq, but is home now in police academy, owns a tattoo parlor in Hyde Park (MA), and just inherited a $1.7 Million house in Machais, ME. Anyway, apart from being full of bullshit, he wanted to know if we'd kissed anyone at midnight, and we were just kinda like, "ummm, no..." So, Katie goes, "My friend wants a kiss I think," but no way was I kissing this guy, so I send him right back to her, and she totally goes for it! Now, normally I'd be a little jealous or at least upset, but this guy was seriously trashed and kinda dirty and super sketchy, so I just wasn't feeling it (is that ok Amy?).

So, after they finished sucking face, we end up walking around the city with him for like two hours. Katie wanted to go to Copley, but he leads us down near South Station and Chinatown, which are NOWHERE NEAR Copley Square. It was super sketch, but since he was so drunk and the city was crawling with cops, I figured it would be ok.

We finally got on the train towards home, but there's another suuuuper sketchy guy sitting accross from us. I couldn't tell if he was drunk, or crazy, or what, but he kept looking over at us and finally, about five minutes before our stop, he came over to the seat next to us and was like "I want to sit in a blue seat."

Katie and I spent the rest of the train ride avoiding looking at him, even though he was looking first at her, then at me, and no where else the entire time. It was soooo scary. And as we were about to get off, he asked us something, and we were just like, "Ummm, yah..." and then he looks at me real close and goes, "It's ok, you can look at me" except it was terrifying cuz his eyes were all bloodshot and I was seriously afraid I was about to get murdered.

Whew. So, we peaced it off that train and stood around whimpering for a few seconds, then headed back to my house, talking loudly about how creepily weird this guy had been. We're walking up the street, when we see these two other guys leaning against a car. They go, "You don't need to worry, we were well brought up!" in a kinda joking way, and then start talking to Katie about her Patriots hat. Turns out that the one doing most of the talking is from Australia and not only has a dead sexy accent, but is also one of the most attractive human beings I've ever seen in real life. I asked him if he played Rugby (since he's from Australia), and he said he did, so we talked about that for a little while. Then, before we could invite them back to my house (kidding, but only kinda, he was soooo hot), it started to rain, and Katie and I headed home.

So that's where I am now and about to go to bed. I know I still have to tell my Dock Boy story, but it's not all that exciting, so I'm procrastinating.

HAPPY 2007!!!
