Thursday, around five hours after noon, Mitch picked me up, and we left for Jared's house, north of Fort Wayne. We drove straight there. His mom gave us a bottle of Oliver, made in Bloomington, but before that we watched the American Hardcore documentary. We heard Herny Rollins talking about jocks that found hardcore refer to them still having the "whats up dick head" mentality. We heard Jared's mother say cunt state. We watched the white rapper show and laughed at the white trash. We slept very little, woke up very early, and ate a fulfilling breakfast at burger king consisting of french toast sticks and varying sides of potatoes. We then headed to Chi-city, stopping just once for gas and paying out the ass in tolls. I tagged a bathroom stall. It said "today we'll get our fix and say fuck tomorrow" and had a picture of a skull being ejaculated from a penis. We got to Chicago: got lost; explored; waited on mallory to get our of class; found Reckless Record store, which is amazing; went and ate pancakes at Nookies in Boystown; hung out at mallory's; went to emily's; got drunk by six; threw up by seven; passed out a half hour later; woke up two hours later; let an hour and a half later; rode the L-train home with a group of young gay african american males singing soul songs; passed out; woke up; ate breakfast at Nookies again; went back to Mallory's; I took a nap because i was hung over while Jared and mitch walked around a discovered a nice bookstore; we later met at Chicago Diner; Jared ate ,all the food was vegan, a BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger with a side of Mac and Cheese; I ate a philly cheese steak sandwhich with the same side as Jared and a Chocolate Milk Shake(!); Mitch had the chicken parmesean sandwhich with mac and cheese and a Mocha Milk Shake!. We were stuffed. We walked back in the sleet, snow, rain to mallory's and hung out for a while. Jared and Mitch went for a walk again and later met mallory and i at melrose cafe, think jim dandy. Before that Jared, Mitch and I had many wonderful conversations and watched America's next top model for hours. We came back to mallory's from melrose around 1:30. Jared woke up to play booger man on sega genesis and we walked to the bookstore but it was closed, so we walked some more then came home. six hour car ride for mitch and a half hour less for me. What a weekend!
