Sunglasses.❚BEAST - 2jun (doojoon/junhyung)❚pg or shit like that❚unbeta'd and stuff❚sunglasses and the like, because I'm uncreative that way.
He puts the sunglasses in, ties the ribbon once he has replaced the lid of the gift box. Today is a very special day, and though his wallet suffered greatly because of that - and is now in critical condition, Doojoon is satisfied with his decision. Of course, he had struggled with himself at first when he saw the price tag on that (damned) pair of sunglasses, consulted his inner angel and demon before coming to the conclusion that Junhyung was more important than his wallet. The cashier wondered why he looked close to tears when he paid for the present, though.
The leader looks up at the clock on the wall, hugging the box to his chest and feeling like a schoolgirl on Valentine's Day.
Just one more minute, less than a minute, Junhyung is going to enter the room anytime now. When the door creaks open in a lazy swing, revealing a familiar figure at the narrow corridor, Doojoon breaks out into his own epic rendition of 'Happy Birthday'.
As cliched as it may sound, Junhyung could almost hear fireworks going off in his head as Doojoon shoves a blue polka-dotted box (with a cute ribbon on top, what?) in his direction, complete with a blinding smile (how many times did he brush his teeth before doing this?).
"What's this?" Junhyung asks, pointing to the box and looking down at it, trying to hide his growing grin.
"It's my love in a box."
"Liar," The birthday boy says, peering into the already-opened box. "You got me a pair of sunglasses, pretty expensive too, by the looks of it."
"Who said that you could open it already?!"
"Thanks anyway."

"Yah, Junhyungie, why are you wearing sunglasses at home?" Yoseob asks one evening, when they are all relaxing in the living room.
"Serious night blindness," comes the reply.
Liar, Doojoon thinks, wearing a silly, lopsided grin on his face. He's wearing them at home because he loves them, because Doojoon gave it to him.
Junhyung takes it off eventually after Yoseob's questioning starts to bother him.
A visible frown forms on Doojoon's face, and Junhyung's eyes meet his- he smiles sheepishly, sorry.
It's okay, he says back with bright crescent-eyes.

Curse Kikwang, Doojoon thinks (he's been thinking alot lately).
Curse you, Lee Kikwang, damn you, and damn you too, Jang Hyunseung, for ruining everything! Angrily, the leader stabs his rice with his spoon. Dongwoon sits across him and stares at the raging man with worried eyes. "Hyung..."
"Not now, Dongwoon, can't you see that I'm busy?" He returns to turning his rice into white mush - the maknae feels nauseous now.
"Hyung, are you angry that Hyunseungie nearly knocked the daylights out of Junhyungie just now?"
"Junhyungie-hyung," Doojoon reminds the younger. "Mind your 'hyung's, maknae. And no, I'm kind of pissed because Kikwang wasn't with us today, actually." If Kikwang were here this wouldn't have happened, would it? Though I'm equally mad at Hyunseung for being so careless.
Ouch, Dongwoon thinks. This guy can be so bitchy sometimes. "Well, it's not Kikwang-hyung's fault, is it? Besides, Hyunseung-hyung apologized already, I mean, he even hugged Junhyung-hyung in front of all the fans-"
"Not only did he nearly knock the daylights out of him, he broke Junhyung's sunglasses," Doojoon speaks in a deep, dark voice. Why does Dongwoon have a really, really bad feeling about this suddenly? And why is it so cold and dark...? (Who's playing around with the air-conditioning?)
"You mean..."
"Yes, that pair."
Before Dongwoon can say anything else, Yoseob spots him in the room, sitting at the same table as Doojoon, and immediately rushes into the icy atmosphere and saves the maknae. ("What the hell were you thinking, staying in that room with the devil?! And why did you have to mention Hyunseung hugging Junhyung?!" The blonde speaks in low, violent whispers, earning a pitiful look from Dongwoon.)
"What's going on?" Junhyung suddenly appears behind Yoseob and a struggling Dongwoon at the doorway. The blonde lets out a shriek and turns to yell in the rapper's face, "Goddammit, you scared me! What are you, a ninja?!"
"Hey, leave the cursing to me, alright." Junhyung frowns.
"Were you the one playing with the air-conditioning, hyung?"
"What are you talking about? And who's in there anyway?" The rapper attempts to peer over the two boys' shoulders to look into the room, ignoring Dongwoon's kicked-puppy look and Yoseob's angry mumbling.
"Yah, you better not go in there," Yoseob warns, shifting uncomfortably with Dongwoon's neck under his armpit. "It will be World War 3 if you do and we'll all be dead."
"... ..."
So Junhyung takes his advice (albeit with a pinch of salt), and leaves with the two younger boys.

I'll buy another pair for you? :((((
Junhyung nearly chokes on his coke in laughter. On the other side of the living room, Doojoon makes a face at Junhyung before returning to his phone to find a new message.
Sender: nagging devil yongjun hyung
Since when was it my 'favourite' pair of sunglasses?
I should be the one asking you if you're okay, idiot
He looks up to find Junhyung staring at him across the room with a raised eyebrow and Doojoon pouts. When that happens, it can only lead to a few possibilities (harmless lover's spat, making up and making out) and then finally one thing (everyone knows what that is).
Meanwhile, Kikwang and Yoseob who are observing this strange yet familiar phenomenon, start inching away from the living room into the bedroom. When Dongwoon passes by with confusion scribbled all over his face, Kikwang mouths "Get down!" at the maknae, who does so obediently, crawling with his hyungs into the bedroom quietly. They find Hyunseung already taking cover under his blankets.
"What's happening outside, hyung? Are they going to fight?" Dongwoon asks fearfully, jabbing a thumb in the direction of the living room. Hyunseung sighs and mumbles, "It's that time of the year again, isn't it. Those two can be so disgustingly cute together sometimes."
"It's not what you think it is, Dongwoonie," Kikwang explains. "It's uh, well, how do I put this..."
"I swear, it's like some kind of mating ritual." Yoseob ends it off, locks the door tight and dives under his covers.

Later, Doojoon hears (from a very frightened Kikwang) that Hyunseung was the one who bought Junhyung those sunglasses, as his way of apology.
