This morning we had a concert for the little fourth graders..we played until 9 warm up, then we took a break, and caleb and cassie and they played Pachebel Canon In D. Such a pretty pretty song. I was gonna grab my cello and play with them but I was having fun just watching them play. It was nice. Then I went and watched the chorus..they did really well. Then we had to go on stage. During Finale From Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, my cello kept slipping because the rock stop didn't work and the cello wouldn't dig into the floor..so I was trying to hold it up with my left hand, and trying to hold a whole cello up and trying to shift positions at the same time does not work. So whatever, that piece was fucked. Then we played Pirates of The Caribbean, we were okay, but the drums were rushing like mad, so it took a while to find the beat again, but we didn't do that poorly. Last was Mario..we fucked it over but the little kids still loved it. :shrug: whatever floats their boat. So yeah, I got to miss first and second block, that was cool. I'm really tired, so I think I'm going to go to sleep in a little while.
