The sole purpose of bracing the storm and going from the Barracks to the Great Keep had been to seek aid from the doctor, Sycora. Much to Vie's disappointment, the doc had not been in and thus her questions remained unanswered. Luckily, the tattoos that had marked her arm were faded and able to be washed off by the time she reached her destination, making the trip a pointless one entirely. To her delight, Hawke had tagged along for the whole journey and now the pair were stranded for the second time that day.
To her delight, the Lord of the Keep had spoken up, announcing that tunnels had been opened to better aid the guests in getting through the storm. Which was how Vie and Hawke had ended up at the elevator, paused to observe the device before getting in.
