Across the Keep runs a rather large spider, scampering from building to building, room to room and carrying with him a decent sized branch of mistletoe. One might catch him skittering up a wall to build a web above a doorway, or stringing mistletoe up from various points on the ceiling.

Liz hadn't seen Joe's entry, and this would of course bite her right in the butt! :D
She was a bit off since returning from her six days locked in the room with Sollux; not because it was Sollux, but because it had been a rather introspective time for her. She'd contemplated things that had never before come to mind, like her own immortality.
Needless to say, she's not paying attention until she actually walks into the webbing strewn across the library entrance. She makes a small sound of surprise, getting caught about halfway through as she conveniently goes solid. Blinking, she looks at where her arm is caught and her eyes slowly begin to widen as she scans the library and takes in all of the webbing everywhere.
"Umm... hello?"
She reaches, unthinking, to free her hand with her other one... thereupon getting her other hand stuck to the webbing. Realizing the error too late, she sighs and rolls her eyes heavenward.
"C'monnnnnnnn... really, now? Really?"
Tugging should help, right? She gives a solid pull, but the webs don't give. In fact, the second time she tries this, with a grunt of exertion, the webbing nearly yanks her back and catches hold of her arm and leg.
"Ewww... Umm... Hello??? Anyone???"
She remembers her journal and and in trying to jar it from her pocket and into her hand... manages to drop it onto the ground... just out of reach of her stretching foot.
Liz, this just isn't your day.
"Well... crap."
