Who: blackantiquas and whomever cares to join him.
What: Keeping safe in the warm Keep.
When: Mid-morning on the 23rd onwards.
Where: The Great Hall, in the Great Keep.
The third station of heat and safety was in the Great Keep itself. Two fires, well-stoked and kept that way by Rem, blazed in their places. Near the fireplaces were stacks of blankets and piles of pillows - perfect for bedding down to sleep, but not necessary for lounging. The Hall was warm and, while not quite cozy, pleasant.
Lining the tables was a spread fit for, well, a lord. A few glazed hams were the centerpieces, and side dishes filled the rest of the tables. Potatoes, roasted vegetables, casseroles, and bread puddings.
Rem himself attended the fireplaces, poking them and periodically adding logs.
