so, obviously it would be nice to have a boyfriend on a day like today. but really, when you have to write 2 midterms in 6 hours, and then walk home in a blizzard, only to find flowers, a card, chocolates and valentines day socks waiting for you in your messy messy room, with love, from your roommate and bestest friend (who's life you like to ruin from time to time through unintentional acts of impersonation and fraud), things really get put in perspective. ya, it'd be nice to have a boyfriend... but it's even nicer to have amazing friends. katie, i love you.
~<3~
i will be home in a week today. who else is on reading week? i'll be home til friday. i'm less-down for partying and more-down for randomness, chilling and quality times. can i get a heck yes?
this whole ruining katie's life has gone from periodical to daily routine. katie has lost her bus pass twice in the past week. the first time, the bus lady called asking for kathleen and i spent a good could minutes insisting i didn't lose it. sooz taps me on the shoulder and whispers "katie katie katie. katie lost her bus pass". i pause, laugh out loud to the chick on the phone. say thanks a lot. and hang out... katie gets home and laughs a lot at the story. then asks, "so where can i go to pick it up?" umm...?
then the next time, some hispanic dude named oliver apparently 'found' katie's bus pass in his jacket. don't worry guys, 7th time's a charm. i caught on quick and katie's bus pass is now in her possession. case closed.
**edit: lyds just reminded me how much fun v-day was last year
