My friend is doing pretty awesome right now. I'm so happy for him.
We went to the lake to swim and eat grilled chicken, and he said things like "I'm gonna marry him, he just doesn't know it", and how he and boyfriend are planning ahead about buying a house, and that he came up with a mathematical toy to help kids understand, what was it, algebra? No, something else. But this toy, it was so good it looks like it'll be picked up for mass production and stuff.
And gorgeous boyfriend is getting tattoo sleeves from the sound of it, oh my god, and has gotten a dream job as a school counselor, and just. I'm still smiling, such a good day.
And we talked Potter and Sorting and movies and Pottermore for like an hour. (I can't believe I'm going to be sorted BY ROWLING.)
My ship duel has been filmed now, I'm so happy with the whole process. Sooo my place in the world, I choreographed and directed and wrote the (very short) script and advised on camera angles and whatever. So much fun.
If this film turns out even half as cool as the live fight, I'll have something to actually build a resumé on, hah. Right now, having a card and website seems sort of lame, because there's no show reel and hardly any photos. So this would be good.
Local paper showed up to, funny story, a relative of one of the actors didn't have a camera, so she called the press instead, haha. Haven't seen the article, but she spelled my name correctly, so what else can you hope for. XD
