Settling down
This week I was all over the place but it was positive. The sleeping game was questionable at times and I felt the stretch but in the end it feels good. I am getting to know the UIS community and forming strong bonds with other women at UIS.
Karoke last night was fun. I didn't get to sing my hallmark karoke song Material Girl by Madonna but who knows when that will come up again. I love to sing and perform on stage. I am looking forward to the upcoming year and summer. It will be busy I realize so I can't take on too much.
I already have a Marketing Internship at the American Lung Association. They are sending me to their Asthma Camp in July to make a documentary. I also need to finish up this promotional DVD for Elizabeth Ann Seton - this nonprofit for low income mothers. This is the beginning and I am not going to overwhelm myself by any means.
