Yarning (aka Knitting)
Yes I sit here at my home in lil ole effy and this will be my last summer here! I am happy about the move but at the same time I will miss the the place. As some of you know of the troubles I have had here but today I am starting my summer projects. I have decided to go back to Chicago in the fall to finish up my movement science degree. Yah I know I've been at the Circle Campus too long, and even though half of my classes won't count towards my degree it's ok because I overcame a lot of things became a Baha'i had numerous other interesting experiences met fantastic people all around. Now I'm just rambling because I'm so excited. I've decided not to stress this summer and not go to Urbana to take organic chemistry 4 days a week and just relax.
One day this past Febuary Lacey had a Ayyam-i-Ha Yarn yarn Exchange. Me not a knitter of any sort and just having learned it once from Lacey attended the the festive event. I learned knitting and made 1/4 of a scraf, I think. Got some cool tips from her knitting buddies, like Cinnamon. Now that I have taken this break from my life to get a handle on things today I am going to restart the knitting or yarning as I would call it. Hopefully I will make some cool do dads. First is this black scraf.
