A post about the Whack Job!
Ok - well I knew this was inevitable. So it appears that I have pissed off the whack job - I actually think he has made something up in his head and doesn't truly know the facts but anyway, here's the story. So the other day I get a call from the Social Worker at the hospital - her deal is what will my Mom will do when she get's home - my main concern is, of course, the whack job. so I explain this to her but being the fair minded person I am, also stated that I feel it best to speak to whack job because, well there is this husband thing happening. Ok so then on Tuesday, I meet up with the social worker who tells me to talk to this other one in charge of my Mom's case. So we go into her office and she's going off about 24/7 care and blah blah and she'll never be the "same person" etc etc. so this is stuff I KNOW, but then again I am unsure if whack job really understands, so I say to her, you really need to talk to whack job because I understand this, but I want to go home to Kentucky and well - either he understands it or she comes with me. So the game plan is set - I told her - well ok, I told her everything he does, passes out on the kitchen floor, the toilet, etc etc... isn't home at all, day or night. or if he is he's had way too much to drink. Their dog had a stroke about 3 months ago and just kind of flop walks randomly - which is a tripping issue and he has this thing about throw rugs, they are everywhere. Ok so this is what i tell her and say very strongly, this didn't come from me - you need to call him as if you are getting to the discharge date and this is just how it works. Well it appears the social worker part went ok - I was not mentioned or involved in anyway - but then my MOM little miss "Rain Man' says - well "whack job" your gonna have to figure out what your doing with me by Sunday because my daughter from Michigan is coming to discuss who's house I'm going to live at.!!! OMG - I couldn't believe it - so of course now it's this huge controversy scheme thing that my sister and I are contemplating - hence I have not been talked to in two days - grow up whack job! your a grown up!!! hello!!! So today I say to him - the doctor gave Mom a day pass for tomorrow, I was thinking of having a BBQ or something - do you have stuff or do I need to buy stuff. - - No response - none, zippo, nadda. Did I say GROW UP already! So ok I've about had it - totally had it - I could not ever imagine, in my entire a life, a man who does not know how to communicate even the simplest things - no hello no hi no what's going on with this and why did she say that - no confrontation, nothing! what is that? And if I have to hear than man hack up one more loogie - OMG that is so gross!
I would go to an extended stay hotel to prevent all of this - but they do not have all the dates I need available and the ones that do are gross without high speed internet so I can still work........ total bummer.
