Big Ten Network
Pretty much my new favorite thing is the Big Ten Network. As I write, I am watching it showcase how awesome State is (including the SMB! Not sure when they'll show it, but they were taping yesterday).
It's nice because it focuses on the teams I want to follow, aka us, and you don't normally get that on ESPN or FSN. And you also get the on-campus stuff, like tonight (Big Ten Friday Nite Road Trip). For example, in one scene I just saw Dem and Jenna (my mentor from last year), Beaumont, and heard the SMB vocal recording of Shadows. Aww!
From here on out is basically an outline of the show via my response...oh, and thankfully, they have short commercial breaks.
The anchors kind of suck and just make fun of each other, but it makes things entertaining.
Now they're showing stuff from last year's Northwestern game. At first I'm like, "eww, John L!" But then I was like, "wait, SWEET GAME!" Heck yes greatest NCAA comeback EVER.
BioMed Building. Heart.
Ha! I just saw Ben! I didn't even know he'd be there! Now if they'd just get to the rest of the band...

Ahhh, I can't stand listening to Purdue's band...woodwinds...and that stupid drum...props to ND for kicking it out! And we're a much cleaner guard.
YAY SMB!!!! Great shot of Lacey (of course). Definitely shows how awesome the band and guard is. And it's funny to laugh at what's going on behind Madden...people practicing, someone dropping, Ian running, etc etc. We just pwned Purdue (no offense, Rachel's mom & dad).
<3 If I Had A Million Dollars <3 I like that piano dude...good songs! It's pretty hard for Kresge to follow that up.

Oh, sad day, a kid who appeared on the show from Indiana died...he was only 17, too. *tear*
"The beautiful Red Cedar River"? Can he SMELL the thing? Not something we'd sacrifice...um, I think we did that when we polluted it. And the dude can't sing the fight song right - especially when you have the band singing it right in the background. Not cool.
Did he seriously just dare that Andy guy to beat Sparty? Umm...no. My future husband will kick his ASS.
Ok, that's done. I'm pumped for tomorrow!!!
But, one thing - they keep making a big deal about the loss last weeked, but it wasn't really that much of a loss - I mean, Wisconsin is in the top ten! And we managed to hold our own! We won't be stopped that easily. Besides, Northwestern sucks.
