just watching gossip girl instead of writing my essay... in this episode they have a huge masquerade... it's so awesome!
i;m really excited cause on nov. 30, it's st. andrews day, a big holiday in scotland and there's going to be a ceilidh, it's like a dance but ... like in pride and prejudice how there's like formal step dances and stuff, apparently that's big here and so a ceilidh is haf that and half a normal dance buuuut all the boys come in their kilts and stuff and look great so i'm trying to find out how formal it is for girls cause i'd need mom to ship over one of my dresses, but sqquuuuueeee
soooo there may be a certain someone special...too early to tell, dunno...cause at most i'm only here for another 6 months... arg whatever
essays are kicking my ass, need to finish up my current one, then 5 more to go :(
halloween here isn't huge, mostly an excuse for everyone to dress up and get drunk, not sure in towns how big it is for little kids. there's not really any decorations or anything around. a lot of stores have x-mas stuff out and some department stores are fully decked out for x-mas already, i think that's even sooner than in the US. my flatmate wants me to dress up as a belly dancer with her, she has a costume for me but it's so small! like basically a bikini top almost D: but i don't wanna spend money on something i'd wear for like 6 hours and never touch again :/
was watching grey's anatomy earlier... guy chain sawing off his own foot...ooooow.
hehe was sharing the candy corn maria sent me... none of the scots had any idea what it was and were like omg that's like pure sugar!
