Less than a week!
Well, it is officially less than a week until all of the Chris and Emily Wedding Extravaganza excitement.
I was just looking online at the website for Converse, and depending on how the Converse shoe fund looks when it's time to buy everyone their shoes, I might order them from there because you can personalize them! I was thinking of putting the date of our wedding on the bottom. I don't know... maybe just for Kevan's and mine, but maybe for everyone else's too! But knowing that it's an option is cool!
I got a drunken phone call from Kevan last night just after midnight. I had been asleep for all of two minutes, so after I got off the phone with him, I was wide awake. I didn't fall asleep again until after 2 because I was having trouble getting comfortable. I cannot wait until we have the furniture paid off and we can go buy a new mattress. I am looking forward to having a nice smooth pillow top without any lumps or Kim and Kevan prints... But, I digress. Then Bender woke me up at 9 to go potty, and I had a hard time falling asleep after that, too. I woke up again around noon, watched some TV, ate some chips, and then fell asleep again until almost 3, when I forced myself to wake up. Needless to say, it's not surprising that it's 1am and I am awake.
I cleaned the bathroom tonight because it was in dire need. I wish that Tilex actually worked on those little stripes of mildew that grow along the tub. I always feel so accomplished when I clean something really well. Tomorrow I am going to try to convince myself to vacuum and dust the living room and bedroom. That won't feel as good, because it has been done recently. But Kevan and I have not been able to find a blanket to use on the couch that does not poo fuzzies all over the floor. And with the light beige carpet, there are poo fuzzies all over the place.
On Monday I'm going to drive up to Orlando and stay with Emily and Chris for the final week before their wedding. They have assured me that I won't be in the way, but I'm still a little apprehensive. I don't want them to get tired of me!! However, I will have my car, and I will also have school work to do, so I will be able to keep myself busy out of the apartment if they want some alone time! Woo woo!! Hah, just kidding...
I can't believe it's almost here. That means ours is going to be almost here. I kind of haven't done anything for it in a while. We have the church, the reception, and flowers. What else is there? I don't know. Oh, and we built registries at Crate and Barrel and Bed Bath and Beyond. I'll probably pick it up again after this upcoming weekend.
Okay, I'm honestly just babbling, and I think I may actually be getting tired. I'm going to go lay in my Kim hole and try to get comfortable.
