Where's the cold?
Well, I just took Bender out back for him to do his business, and the crickets are already out there chirping away... So much for January so far.
I went shopping yesterday and bought a new dress from Macy's. They had it paired with a cute little cardigan that was the same price as the dress - meaning too dang expensive. So I went to Old Navy to see if they had a white cardigan to replace the one that I have that had a hole in it at the neck. They did, for like 20 bucks, so I got it. I was going to wear it to church this morning, and I went to put it on... it has a hole in it, too! In the same exact spot... I'm pissed. So I'm going to pull a quick one on Old Navy, since I already pulled the tags off of it. I'll probably do that tomorrow.
Lori's coming next weekend, and I'm very excited for her visit. We're going to do some very cool things, including Polish Heritage night at my church. Pierogies, kielbasa, stuffed cabbage! Delicious! And, if it's still warm, we might go to the beach... because we can!
That's pretty much it. Nothing else is really going on. My classes start up again on Tuesday. I'm looking forward to it, because I'm getting used to being ridiculously busy during the semester, and when I'm on break, I get antsy.
After Saturday, the countdown to Chris and Emily celebration extravaganza begins. I wonder what my classes are going to be like the week before that excitement... It would be nice if I could go up there at least a couple of days before to get some girly things in with Emily and Lori.
