OMG OMG OM OMG!!!!!!The head of the theatre department Herschel Kruger just paid me the ultimate compliment and right now i'm seriously on cloud 9!!!!!!!!!So 2 days ago I tried out for both the spring play (Over the Tavern) and the One Act Festival. The next day I found out that I was the only freshmen to get a call back for Over The Tavern (Herschle's play) and i also got called back for one of the one acts. Later amanda and I found out that we were like the onlt 2 actresses that everyone wanted for their call backs, and that Herschel fought with all of the One act direcotrs over who would get us for call backs. manda got thrown back to One Acts while I got the mainstage call back with only one one act call back. At call back's I got to read for a nun!!!, HAHA, and i read with these two adorable little kids that are gonna play the youngest character...anywho, I didn't actually get cast in the end...but like 5 min ago Herschel popped in to the box office where i've been encased for the past hour and told me that i did a great job in my audition and that i should DEFINITELY continiue to try out because there will be a lot of parts for me next year!!!!!!I sooooo needed this self esteem booster cuz i have seriously been doubting my acting talents ever since i stopped getting cast in plays in high school...SO FUCK YOU STROCK, I AM AN AMAZING ACTRESS YOU UNTALENTED BITCH!!!!!
I also had my tuba quartet concert last night which went pretty well...but becuase of it i screwed my chances out of getting cast because i had to leave call backs an hour early for the performance...what ever, i am way too happy right now!!!!!!
