Yes, but it's the FUN kind of sadism. And it's more complex than just generic grouchy-ness that a lot of people write- after two weeks of basically mainlining TF fic, your Ratchet is still pretty much my favorite.

(I've read every recc I cadged from Rose and most of the stories in people who wrote stuff I liked's favorites- any chance of a recc post soon? I'll basically read anything with a plot and good characterization. :D_

My love for Ratchet amuses me because I usually get a thing for 'woobie' characters and Ratchet is way too cranky to be a woobie. I'm enjoying the change of pace. ;)

LOL! Thank you! Frankly, the TF:Prime practically writes the slash for you. Between Optimus constantly fawning over Ratchet, (Oh, and I loved Ratchet's sad little comment about Optimus and Megatron having 'quite a history') and I'm not entirely sure the Decepticons can get more gay. It's like watching Queer as Robots or something.
