I am stealing Sarah's idea.
* A note on notes: I will only be adding notes to books that I have never read, and are newish so others can read them if they wish. I will be adding ALL the books I read this year but a lot are romances that are unavailable now. My sister-in-law works at a library and I get lots of older books from her.

2) Morning Light- Catherine Anderson
Romance
January 2, 2008- January 3, 2008
Good book... classic Anderson. Morning Light picks up with the Harrigan family, first introduced in Sun Kissed, the last Coulter family book. (Unless you count Eden's story but who knows when or if we will get that!) Morning Light is a bit slow to start, but once it picks up speed it is a sweet story. Certainly worth a read for all true Anderson fans but those just wanting to check out the author would do better with Only By Your Touch,Sweet Nothings, or the frist Coulter family book Phantom Waltz.
1) Blood Brothers- Nora Roberts-
Romance/Suspense/Horror-
December 30, 2007- January 1, 2008
Excellent book, as I feel most NR books are. I love her Wiccan/Supernatural stories as they then appeal to my fantasy side, as well as my romance side. I also like that she doesn't always have the two main characters have a big fight and break up near the end of the story. The whole evil, devil, seven years thing is creepy as all heck and aside from the Vampire Trilogy makes for the darkest of her trilogies yet! I love it! I must say that I had to keep reminding myself that Quinn was a woman, not because her character seemed like a man, but because every time Nora has used that name before, it has been a mans name. I am looking forward to book two because Fox and Leyla make my knees a little week... well Fox does and I think Leyla is a good match for him. Good book. If you like Nora Roberts, you will like the book. Unless you are one of those Nora fans who just want to bitch about the fact that her stories aren't straight romance anymore. To which I must say... GET OVER IT! She has been writing for years and like everyone and everything her style must evolve.
Oh and as a side note.... I find this trilogy odd because it is the first one where I am the same age as one of the main characters. I mean instead of them all being 30 and me being 20, I am 27 and they are younger than my husband! Strange....
