Finally, an Update :)
Ok so here goes :)
I moved into my own apartment with Wayne last month! Hurray! I love it here, though we still don't have furniture. We've been sitting on cushions on the floor, but that's ok. It's surprisingly not that bad. Soon, we're buying a futon so people can sleep over, and then comes the all important kittens. We agreed they'd be our Christmas presents to each other :) He wants to name his Meatball though now, silly boy. I still like Munchkin and Skylar.
Next! I'm looking for another job. Something not in the retail industry. I'm making tons of money at my current job, true, but I'm just not happy. I loved working at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and kinda wish i'd never left. The vacuum job is much more money and weekends off, but i'm just not into the hard sell thing, and there's a lot of pressure. I think I want to be a banker. Work all days, maybe a saturday or two a month. Or! Child care. I've actually been really considering going back to school for teaching. I think that's something I could flourish at, teaching elementary school or working with little kids in a similar situation. I'm going to look into loans and such for it.
I joined the WOE plot team, and just finished up with the first weekend i've co-written. I think it went incredibly well, and now understand the rush that Dan, JP, Corey, and Shane must all feel after a Syraandor event. I was very very happy to hear everyones favorites and such. I hope things keep going as well. I'm busy inventing a new race with Ray to debut at the next event, and am very giddy about it. As far as other Larping stuff goes, I have a very busy month ahead of me! First is Caldaria, since I promised Eric and Doug :) A kick ass Keely/Casey/Grog/Tommy combo, we'll make quite the team. Two weekends after that is my beloved Syraandor. If this next event is even a fraction as scary as this last event was for me, it'll be awesome. I think Dan and JP really tried to break my brain, and they came damn close! After that is Ashbury's Halloween. Then Woe! Then Thanksgiving! Then sadly the very last Syraandor event of the season :( My how time flies. At least i'm ending off the year with a whole bunch of larpy goodness, then a long restful break. OH! and Dan is going to PC this next Syraandor event with me! I can't wait! Finally, a weekend I get to hang out with him where i'm not afraid he'll suddenly morph into Fever Grey or something.
Hmmm... I think that's everything for right now. Hopefully, i'll find a new job soon, get some furniture, and then life will positivly kick ass :) And now, it's off to play more Fable :)
