Hi!

This is my once in a long while update! :)

Family: I love my family. Dan is amazing. Aside from his work schedule sucking and him being a wee bit to willing to throw himself under the bus for his job, things couldn't be better. Hopefully, his schedule will be changing at the end of this month and he'll be working more days, and not mostly nights meaning we don't ever see each other. Rory is wonderful too! He's hit being a toddler in stride, full of love and the occasional mega temper tantrum. I love him way to much for my own good. The talks have begun about baby number two, and we've decided to try for another one when Rory turns two in December. If all goes as planned, Rory will be a big brother around September 09, exciting!

Work: Work is work, I love my co-workers and for the most part the kids I watch. Things are getting a wee bit stale, same old same old, you know. But, seeing as a lot of my wee ones are about to go to the toddler room and new babies are coming in, things should feel refreshed again soon :)

Deadlands: I love being part of the Deadlands staff, and jokingly refer to it as my second job. It really felt like it for a while, between writing an event and pretty much the entirety of the players guide. I think our event went well aside from accidentally alienating a third of the player base, but still it was fun! A bit too stressful for my tastes though, I certainly prefer PCing. I'm going to try and learn as much as I can, like how to run monster desk and how to appropriately send out treasure, because I felt like I wasn't doing enough at the event to help, leaving Dan and Gary a bit more stressed I think because of it.  I'll learn, I'll do better, and i'll  continue to have fun! That's my motto. My favorite part of the event, funnily enough, was something that happened totally by accident: WERETOR. Being able to trigger a werewolf on command is AWESOME. Of course, it's also terrifying, and I would rather not get accidentally eaten. Or, you know, have Gary turn me into a psychotic raving lunatic for tapping into the good ole moon powers too many times. Must behave, must behave!

Me: I have been inspired by Shane and Kelly and joined a gym. I've been playing Wii fit a ton and love it, and decided to go for the real thing to get even more benefit. The plan now is to go for an hour on my lunch breaks, do a thirty minute circuit of the machines, 20 minutes of cardio, then book it back to work. I'll keep walking my three miles on evenings Dan is home too. My favorite part of Wii fit is how Rory loves to do the exercises with us. It's too adorable for words.

Ok,  I think that's all. I'll update in a few months again, you know me :)
