So much!
So much has happened since I last updated. Some good, some bad. Actually, 95% good, which is really nice :)
Went to the last NERO event of the season. It was awesome, but very sad it's over, especially because so much neat new stuff is happening, both plot wise and personal wise. I am very interseted to see where this next season takes us, and very proud of Corey for making me hate him so quickly as the shadow dragon. I haven't been so frusterated that I couldn't hurt something since I wanted to pummel Du'Mornin two years ago when Tristan first turned. I also got a really sweet letter from Caseighopeus, and a really neat surprise from Eleghedron. So much stuff to follow up on! Ah well, Only five more months... it can't be that bad, can it? And besides, Keely can make a few visits to Ashbury in the meantime to get my fix's in :)
To distract myself from missing NERO so much, I also now have World of Warcraft. DougR and Kelly got it for Wayne for his birthday. I am playing a human sorcerer, Kaylee, on the Zul'Jin server. 10th level after only two days, and i've got a lot of downtime this week to get higher. This game is fun because there are so many quests, not just monster slaying :) I also get to play with Doug now and then, who's a dwarven priest names Ivar. I find that highly amusing.
The other big distraction, is Kittens!!!!!!
Two of them, which I picked up on friday. We ended up not getting Sam and Izzy, as when we went to meet them at their foster house, it was clear the family really loved them and wanted to keep them. They were very nice, and they mentioned if we hadn't taken them, they were going to keep them, and who am I to steal away two kittens they've grown to love over three months. So, instead, I went to the animal shelter where the foster mom worked, and found our new Munchkin and Meatball. Both are about four to five months old.
Munchkin is a little gray tiger stripe, with semi-long hair. He is such a lap kitten. In fact, he's on my lap right now. He loves to bump faces and give kisses, and then snuggle onto shoulders. He was born with a convex chest, which means his chest goes inward instead of outward. That means that he has to work twice as hard to breath, and his heart pumps harder than normal, and is expanding. They are not sure how long he'll live. He could only live a few months, or up to ten years. All his brothers and sisters got adopted, but no one took him. He is so lovable. Even if he only has potentially a short time to live, I don't care. Wayne and I are going to make sure that he gets plenty of love while he is alive. I love him so much :)
Meatball (Wayne named her!) is a sweet little short haired with all sorts of colored fur. She is also a lap kitty, and especially loves to perch on shoulders! She likes sitting next to people on the couch, and then snuggling up against they're legs. Unfortunantly, she's very sick right now. She won't eat or drink, has a runny nose and eye, and is very lethargic. I am super worried about her :(. She has a vet appointment at 4:30 today, I hope they make my Meatball all better. We are giving her extra love in the meantime.
Other than that, I had a very good weekend with Scott, and Dee. We hung out, played vidio games, walked around downtown Salem with DougR and Kelly, and then Saturday night, Scott, Dee, myself, Sean, Carley, Gary, Gary's girlfriend, And Kimmy all went to ManRay. I'd never been to a club before. It was very interesting. I had fun dancing, and actually got to see my first Drag Show too. It wasn't a bad one, it was kind of cute in a way. I think I had a good time because of the people I was with though, and it was a very tame night. I would have been much more scared at a theme night I think, but instead I just had a blast dancing with everyone :) Hee! I also forgot, Wayne got to be a bad influnce on Scott, by getting him to play Halo2 and then teaching him to eat desserts first! I hope you'll let Scott come play with us again soon Dee, don't hate Wayne!
Ok, so, thats where my life is right now. Very good, except for one sick kitten who is getting lots of extra love and is going to the vets tonight to be made all better. I love my kittens so much.
