Once again, it's been too long and I'm sure my imaginary fans out there have been waiting for a hoppin' entry from that girl known to many as Keely, some as Keels, a few as Keelsta, and everyone from France as Kiwi. Simply put, an entry must commence...
So, I've been out of town for two weeks. I was in Vermont for a few days, which was okay, I guess. My grandparents constantly fuss over me, which makes me a little bit uncomfortable, if only because they are indeed grandparents. Well actually, it's really just my grandmother. I know now where I got my anxiety from. The wedding was fine, and blah blah blah. None of you really care. Let's get to something exciting, eh?
When we were driving from Maine after having visited Williams (which is a nice college, by the way. You should check it out sometime!) we got completely lost and ended up driving through the states of Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and finally Maine. Talk about a road trip!! Finally we got to Maine. I was a little bit nervous to see my second cousins: Ian (16), Hally (15), and Forest (12). I hadn't seen them in a few years because they live in London during the school year and Maine during the summer and I'm always swimming. However, we hit it off right away. Ian's best friend Oli (short for Oliver) came with him, and he was CUTE!!! Once you go for foreign boys, you never go back... SIGH!
So anyways, life was incredibly fun. The highlights were many, and the boring parts were few and far between when we were with them. One day Ian took me sailing and we sailed around the bay for almost two hours. That was quite fun. Also, imitating their English accents was very entertaining. It was, as Ian would say, classic...
And because I love pictures, and I can't go without taking a billion of them, here you are:
Okay so here's a picture of me, Hally, Andie, and Ian on the way to a sailing excursion on a huge boat owned by my mom's cousin Noah. I wish I could sail...
What up cousins/family members/Oli?!?!?! That thing we are sitting on almost gave way, which was sort of scary because we would have crashed onto the shore which is very rocky, but luckily it held. PHEW!
HAHA! 'Nuff said...
Haha! Coolness...
Wow - this picture is big. I don't know why. Anyways, this is a picture of me, Ian, and Hally. Ian is hotter than this - don't let the bad pictures fool you. ;) If only we were third cousins, rather than second, because then he'd be fair game... Hahaha! I'm just kidding. :D
S'mores = life. These are probs the best s'mores I've ever had. Ever. YUM!
I look sort of sicknasty, but Oli looks cute. Yes, as I said before, once you go for foreign boys, whether Spanish, Mexican, or English, they are just all around more... interesting. ;) I am crazy. Anyways...
Daniel is a teenager now - how crazy is that??? Speaking of, I have to learn Hebrew for his Bar Mitzvah. That really blows... :-/
Forest is my hero in this picture hahaha...
And then on the last night we stayed up all night and talked. Why am I constantly missing everyone I keep meeting? Sadness...
Anyways, that's it for this entry. I have to lifeguard for about eight days in a row now due to the fact that all the college students have to return to their colleges, which leaves only high school students, four of which go to GDS and start school Tuesday! OH NOES! Which reminds me, I have tons of summer reading left. Keely MacDonald - procrastinator extraordinaire. And you never thought you'd see the day... Peace out, lovers!
