You can't feel the beating, and never beat the feeling.
UCK this weekend - meaning that all of us important people (yay!) went out to a big house in the middle of nowhere (commonly known as Jällåsa) and had a conference where nothing very important was said, and a nice dinner where lots of important things happened.
Okay, not so much important as fun, but who cares...
Turns out that both Benny (or as he will be known from now on - Pansy) and Olov Godhe are actually big Star Wars fans. Had a bit of a chat with our dear 2q about it. Obviously he had some very strange ideas about the movies, but as he is one of the first males in their mid-twenties who absolutely love Anakin Skywalker I was prepared to overlook that. CD didn't work properly so we danced (in the wash-up room, no less) to City 106,5 - wasn't as bad as it could have been. Ended up snogging in the dark. Bit pissed about the lack of privacy as things could have turned interesting given a little less people around. Oh, well, no big deal. This guy is gorgerous, nice, a sing/songwriter, a fantastic chef but neither of us is looking for anything but a little fun. Got that, and so I should be satisfied.
Okay, it still freaks me out that a certain someone who I would like to be kissing is bloody Not Interested (but such a teasing little flirt...! *smirks*) Yet, all in all, it was a really good party, the best UCK I've been to so far.
Did somehow promise to join the Study Council. Now I have to help arrange a barbacue for the new theology students, and a little get-together for all the members of the faculty. Great - it's not as if I didn't have enough to do, with my summer course, semester starting in a few weeks, KU and the spex. But if I want to go for a ThD one day - and I sort of do - this is good. So I'll just keep smiling, shall I? Damn right...
Haven't heard from my beta in a while. Now, it hasn't been that long, but I'm still slightly worried. I wanna update that fic...
