More Shuffle Poetry and a Clean Rug

Feb 01, 2010 12:44

While Mark is making my rug dog-poop-from-the-past-free, I am going to do more shuffle poems.

Also? My hair smells like smoke. It's gross. Any suggestions?

Shuffle Poem 3:
This Thing Called Love
by K.D. and her Zune, Pooty

When I get to the bottom
Industrialization has crippled the globe
I've studied all the pictures in magazines and books
I can still recall our last summer

If you change your mind
Oh darlin'
Well we got no choice
Hope this is the last time

Who do you think you are?
She's not a girl who misses much
Ooh how 'bout a round of applause
I can ride my bike with no handlebars

Such a lonely day, and it's mine
I dig my toes into the sand
Things you see in a graveyard
Live in my house I'll be your shelter

Shuffle Poem 4:
What's the time?
by K.D. and her Zune, Pooty

There's nothing you can do that can't be done
I close my eyes
Hangin' 'round, downtown by myself
Can anybody find me somebody to love?

When you walk away
I'm looking at you through the glass
If I take a look, I've got to have it
Earth angel, earth angel, will you be mine?

Years, it's been so many years
Is this the real life?
Come with us now on a journey through time and space
When I find myself in times of trouble

I can show you the world
We'll be singing when we're winning
Look at this stuff
You got me runnin' goin' out of my mind

-K.D.- (who is procrastinating and NEEDS to do her maths. Now.)
