Wow.

Okay, so since I've been all broken record-ish about my troubled-ness--it's a word now, shut up--about other people saying that they want to make a difference in their health, but then don't really do it, I have to boast a little.  I know I've been doing really well with the weight loss this time around with the WW.  And it's easy because I have a lot of support and for some reason, when I'm making healthy food for Ella and Noah, I eat healthy too.  Shocking how that one works out, isn't it?

Anyway, I've been doing Power 90.  I started on June 11 with my first workout.  I'm now 11 days into a 90 day program.  Part of the start of the program is getting all your stats down on a piece of paper so that you can see what progress you made.  It also involves taking "before" photos so that you have a pictorial history of your "personal transformation story."  Whatever, dudes.

So, about 3 workouts into the whole thing, I had Noah measure me.  I wanted to cry.  Seriously.  I am gigantic.  At least I felt that way.  And no, I'm not the biggest I've ever been (since I'm obviously down 40 pounds since March), but I feel monstrous and huge and think that I'll never look as good as all the other success stories.  And I know I have to do my best, and not my better than, when it comes to taking care of myself, but I wanted to feel thinner after 40 pounds.  It just means, I guess, that I had much more than 40 pounds to lose when I started.

Not the point.  The point is that today I re-measured, because last night I noticed on the card where I'd written  my measurements, you're supposed to do it again after workout day #6.  I guess it's so you can say "I lost this many pounds and inches in just one week!"  and be one of their advertisements.

Okay, so I'm 11 days in, so I'm 5 days late.  But OH MY GOD.

So i can't remember what size my thighs were, but the rest I could get to where I put it up online.  Other than my arms, which I remember, for some reason.
here's the breakdown of the inches I've lost so far:
  • Chest: 1 inch
  • Waist: 1.5 inches
  • Hips: 0.5 inch
  • Right arm: 1.5 inches
  • Left arm: 1 inch
Assuming my thighs stayed the same, which I doubt, then that means I've lost 5.5 inches in 11 days.  Seriously, people, I'm sold.  I'm totally sold.  I'll stick to this company's workout products for a long time now, I suspect.
