Hello out there.....
I am like a twice a year post type of girl now days...
Oh well, I guess this is my bi-annual post.
I gained a large amount of weight last year due to medication. I lost 15ish pounds between Jan to March and then went back on a medication that made me gain weight back. It's been very frustrating when it feels like there is nothing you can do to loose the weight.
However, 2.5 weeks ago I started eating clean.. following guidelines from the eat clean diet. So far I have lost 7.4 pounds and I am at the lowest I have been since last year. It has shown me that I can no longer use medication as a reason for not loosing weight. I just need to stay on top of what I am eating.
Eating clean is fairly simple, cut sugar, processed foods and any foods with ingredients you can not say out of your diet. This followed by eating 5-6 times a day, ensuring to each 1 protein and 1 complex carbohydrate each meal.
Its nice to feel that i can gain a little control of my life by just changing the way I am eating.
On the activity front I have become more and more active. I currently weight training 2-3 times a week, with 2 TRX classes and 1-2 days doing Cardio.
I still haven't been able to kick the habit i have of becoming a couch potato once I get home for the day. This is something I am really trying to work on. Some days are better then others. The goal is to cut TV down to a few hours on the weekends if any. We'll see how that goes.
So that's really my life in a nutshell right now..
What I haven't been able
