on macs
it's true. there is some sort of magic that comes with macs. the build quality is superb. you know they put a lot of thought into the design: there are no visible vents on this thing. the rubber stops on the screen go along the outline, instead of using small rubber dots. it's silent. there is only one light, and it's not even always on, and it shines through the metal, instead of having a separate plastic part. (well, there are 8 more lights for an external battery indicator, but they only turn on when you press a button.) [EDIT] and the touchpad is a joy to use.
that makes me want to overlook that there are only 2 usb ports put really close to each other, no VGA port (and no adapter for it! c'mon.), and no dedicated mic in jack.
