We went to a wedding today. A former student of DH. It was fun. I wore the sexy but tasteful black dress I had purchased some time ago. Ahhh this dress would look so much better with heels but in the interest of keeping my teeth intact I wore a pair of blueberry colored flats. The not so fun stuff...panty hose. I put those on and felt like I had been in a wrestling match when I was done. This though being the first time in proper hose attire since I got sick.
I think what made me most happy about day aside from the wedding was seeing DH in a suit. It shows off his height to it's full advantage and he looks so handsome dressed up. The reception was outside and when it got cold he offered me his suit coat. I'm just one of those women who loves to reside in her man's sweaters and jackets. Even after 13 years of marriage I still do. Never mind that the sleeves are long enough if I flapped hard enough I could fly, long enough coat to belt and wear as a dress.
Today, I passed another milestone. I went to the store and had to buy a hair band. Yes, my hair is now getting long enough to pull back and it is still retaining its curl. My hair has always been wavy, but this curly without help, no. To have to buy a hair band was so awesome.
It's gotten cold so off to bed and nice warm blankets.
