Update...
Here I am at college...wahoo. Everything is going very well so far actually. Church was really great today. Charlie has had some wonderful messages. Today, the sermon was on being a servant. That's something I need to work on. I haven't really done much volunteer work for awhile. I just haven't been in a good mood in general at work lately either, but I think if I go into work with a mind of being a servant to those I'm working with, to help them in any way they need, I would be a lot happier by becoming their helper instead of someone who just works with them. I think the story that really got me today in Charlie's sermon was when he worked in this place he had two bosses. One was an older man and the other one's name was Bruce who was younger than Charlie at that time - just out of high school. The older boss (can't remember his name) was a boss who bossed. That's about all he did. Everyone liked it when Bruce had to take over when the other guy wasn't there because Bruce helped his fellow workers get their job done and got on their level even though he really didn't have to. There was another story about at man who had these slaves and wanted to tell them about the gospel, but they wouldn't listen to him because he was looked upon as a master. So what did he do? He sold himself to become a slave, so that he could be on their level so they would listen to what he had to say about the gospel. I need to do what God had in store for me. My major is psychology, so my goal is to start listening to people once again. I've just had this long span of time where I've concentrated on myself.
