Update on the home front- kids

G started at his new school, International Montessori, today and had a great day! He LOVES the Karate class that is part of the curriculum, he even has his own Gi! I am very relieved that he is happy at school at last(so far). I told them some of his finer exploits at the public school and they couldn't believe that it was the same kid. I am much happier too. I didn't mind home schooling him for a while, but I was really missing the time I got to spend with A. And as G got lonelier at home the more I needed the change, especially with A getting closer to preschool age when I would have to start sharing her with people outside the "family".

Speaking of A, she is officially moved into D's room. So now it is the Girls' room and G has his own space again. This is good because as little boys get older they don't want their little sisters in their rooms if there is a choice... and neither does the state! The little charmer (A) is growing in leaps and bounds. I'm still the one who understands her speech the best, and some people still don't recognize it as actual speech... I understand most of what she says, but I'm with her at almost all times( and for at least a few months I'm really going to enjoy being alone with her!!!).

D is doing really well in school and is bring home a lot of A's on papers lately. She doesn't have a lot of friends at school, I'm afraid that she's a bit too much faire brat for them. Nobody understands faire brats except for other faire brats... But at least most of them aren't mean to her like they were at her old school. She is working on finishing up her Bronze award in Girl Scouts, she still has a bit of a way to go, but if she keeps to it she'll get it before school's out! We're preparing D to go to middle school next year *shudders at the thought* we have a few options for which one, but we haven;t decided anything yet. I'm hoping that she'll get into Mt Baldy, but that is a long shot. My second choice is also a get into situation and that is Keystone Academy, our district's only middle school only magnet school. Think prep school, in a free setting... Beyond that I have no Idea.

Anyhow, off I get. It's time to start dinner!
