On the subject of doggies...

Some of you folks know I currently have two dogs. Sage, who's about 12 years old. We've had her since she was just a puppy. For about a year and a half we've also had another dog, Junior. She (yes, it's a she and her name's Junior. My mom calls her "Gwendolyn" 'cause she feels it's a much more girly and therefore a more appropriate name) was my uncle's dog since she was born, until my uncle moved to Texas and couldn't take her along. Junior's about 14+ years old.

Junior's really old, and we think she's dying. She stumbles aimlessly around the house... sometimes her back legs give out... she tries to hide in random corners of the house... we don't think she can hear anymore.

Sage was the only dog in this house for many years, but she's grown attached to Junior over the past year and a half. We're afraid that Sage is gonna get really depressed when Junior passes away.

Sage is also getting kinda old, and we're afraid at how depressed we all are going to get whenever Sage passes away.

So, we're getting a new dog!

We've always had mutts, and that's what we want to get. We're probably gonna go to the Humane society. I don't believe in getting pure-breeds or getting dogs from breeders. There are too many dogs out there that need new homes. Pure-breeds are dumber in comparison anyway.

These are my doggies. Sage is the black one, Junior's the light brownish one.

If you wanna see more about my doggies, check out this post from when I first got Junior.
