happy new year, kids!
Last year I:
- Went to Ireland after dreaming about going for years and years.
- Moved back home from the dorms for the summer
- Went to Cornerstone for the 2nd time! I moped a lot about JE not being there, but I did dress up like a pirate, and Hawk Nelson did recognize me.
- Oh, and I finally actually bought a pair of legwarmers. Yes, this is significant.
- Got my first real job. At Domino's, yup.
- Did my first life-drawing classes. Yipes!!!
- Got a Daily Deviation on deviantArt. Wow!! I still can't believe this.
- Got a whole lot better at drawing.
- Became a carnivorous-plant-enthusiast.
- Lost somebody close to me for the first time, my drawing teacher.
- Lost somebody close to me for the second time, my grandpa.
- Finally got my stupid stinking driver's license.
- Moved to Florida!
- Started working at Epcot.
- Learned how to pour beer.
- Was in a music video.
- Got a cell phone!
- Became obsessed with Peter Pan.
- Spent my first Thanksgiving away from home.
- Spent my first Christmas away from home.
- Spent far too many hours inside a giant gingerbread house (YES, IT'S REAL.)
- Dyed my hair for the first time!
Next year, I sure hope I:
- Go to Autobahn
- Go to Cornerstone again
- Come back to Disney for a month or so in the summer
- Don't have to take too many horrible classes in the spring semester as soon as I get back.
- Study abroad in Ireland next school year
- Get a whole lot better at drawing
Last year I never ever ever guessed that I would be ringing in 2006 as a cast member at Epcot. But there you go, and there I was.
I'm sure the new year holds just as many absolutely thrilling events that I (and the rest of you) would never ever guess about. It's gonna be fun! :D
