SO -- Nikki and Al were nice enough to get me GROWING PAINS trading cards for my birthday, and these, paired with the rest of my collection, made me realize I should become a SERIOUS CARD COLLECTOR. So far I've got: garbage pail kids, super girl, harry & the hendersons, TERRORIST ATTACKS (see some blog from november)! It only makes sense to get some gorpy binder and throw in some cards. This requires a visit to the Fort Collins Flea Market though where the trading cards flow like wine.
I just realized that QVC showed Quacker Factory FOUR DAYS IN A ROW!!!!!!! WTF. I really need to be more strategic with my DVR. In case you don't know, Quacker Factory is an elegant line of women's clothing aka embellished sweaters & bejeweled sweatpants & ladies talking about how genius and versatile the clothing is. This morning I watched a line of hideous clothing being sold and heard this quote: "TUNICS HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR 1,000s OF YEARS!" SO TRUE? I, LOVE, INFORMERCIALS!!!!
Thanks for all the birthday wishes, everyone! I spent my birthday hungover after way too many margs, martinis, and stumbles into ESPN ZONE and bad lodo bars. Then I had a nice dinner out and CUPCAKES courtesy of Leslee. CANTELOUPE FLAVORED!!!!! Oh, and went to Vegas.
