ps2 woes
Yay my ps2 has come home to me!!! That took waaay longer than it should have tho -__-; I put it in for repair like.. three weeks ago? But it was kinda a messy affair. I got it modded right, and it never occurred to me to call the guy who modded it (privately i might add) to fix it for me. So i took it to the shop where he worked (incidentally i forgot about that fact until i got there and he was working that day) and put it in for repair. So since i put it in at the shop, i thought the repair would be done through the shop, and he told me that he would call me in a day or two to let me know what's wrong (This was the Monday of Week 1 btw). So Friday came around, still no call and i decided to call the shop to ask what was up. When i rang, i think they were busy or something, because the guy had a quick search and couldn't find it, so he took my phone number and name down and said he'd call back. I didn't hear anything else from them that day.
Week 2. I decided to simply go into the shop to ask what was up (I think this was on the Monday) but when i asked them about my ps2, the owner couldn't find it. Then he asked who had taken it the day i dropped it off and then called up the guy and asked him about it. Then he told me that the guy had taken it home and told him that 'he was taking care of it'. (Gee.. thanks so much for letting me know, not.) The owner was quite rude to me, telling me that he had 'just wasted 5mins of his time looking for a job that wasn't even theirs'. He then proceeded to tell me that if the mod wasn't theirs, he didn't want to hear about it. >:( I didn't bring the thing in for a mod. Just a repair. Why the heck would it matter if u did the mod or not??
Anyways, so I called up the guy on Tuesday and he was like 'yeah owner told me u called, sorry i didn't call earlier cos i had a few days off work and forgot about it'. So he was like 'yeah i should get it done in the next day or two' and so i left it at that. Friday came round, still no call, so I rang him again. He said exactly the same thing to me this time as well (pretty forgetful guy..) so there wasnt much help for it, he was like 'yeah i'll try and get it done in the next couple of days'.
Week 3. Still no call on Monday. Decided to call him on Tuesday night (I swear i feel like i'm stalking him or something) and he was like 'oh sorry i completely forgot about it! i'll have it done by afternoon tomorrow'. So i was like 'ok that's cool' and the next day he actually called me :o and yeah, went to pick it up and happily it works again.
Oh and apparently the problem with it was that it had blown a fuse. I'm told that it's very rare of a machine to do that and still work after, so that was pretty lucky >_<
Hmm on other news i bought the 2nd FMA collector's tin from JB today! One of the things i've been saving up to buy.. i heard the news that the website had sold out its preorder stock and was soo worried that i wouldnt be able to get hold of this one =/ *sigh* this lack of work thing is hitting pretty hard though. imyu i should probably pay u first though i think, i'll pass u the money i owe u the next time i see u if i have it on me. Mmmm.. next thing i really really want to save up for is the Last Exile box set that came out today as well :o sooo cool..
Weather is totally weird, as usual. Also been MIA on msn, but i'm quite pleased with myself about that.. last year's overusage of that little IM proggy was quite bad. Much prefer ICQ as a means of contact, but sadly use of that handy program is dying out nowadays =( EVERYONE SHOULD GET AN ICQ ACCOUNT NOW :P
*yawn* feeling sleepy, but almost time for my weekly exercise so off i go..
