bored
sitting here at my new job in the westside communtiy office. i guess this is where all the westside RA's come to make their posters and cut out letters for their bulletin boards. i'm in this quiet little office on the side of kellum hall. cutest. right now i'm getting paid to make cute crafts for the baby squirrels and type in my live journal. if only i had some chick-fil-a, life would be good.
yeah so today was the first day of classes. i had public speaking and computer literacy. computers should be a piece of cake. speech... it could go either way. tomorrow i have intro to mass media, intro to art history and criticism, and multicultural film. art history i might drop if it seems hard.
really excited for the miami game. both my block and jake's block got great numbers!!!! agd got 28 and i think kappa sig got 24 or 26. this means tickets for sure!!!!!!
so recruitment is over, thank god. it was so stressful. we got some really great girls. it sucks though because girls that you like and feel confident about all through the week end up going to other houses. so that part of it sucks. amy's little sister erin accepted a bid too! i'm so excited... she's the cutest girl ever and a mini version of amy which is completely amazing!
40 more miniutes and i get to peace out.
pledging ceremony tonight at 9.... can't wait. bought my pearl sister some agd cuties from the garnet and gold greek store. didn't go all out b/c she technically isn't my sis-daughter (or little sister, if you will), she's my pearl sister which is more casual, but i did drop a few dollars on some greek must-haves. i want to go all out on my sis daught. i can't wait to have one. i have like three picked out already and i think i will sweet talk them into choosing me. lol, i'm j/k. i love all the baby squirrels. i also made all the girls pledging tonight little notes and i'm going to get some candy to attach them to. i'll probably take my pearl out to tcby or something if she's game. coral is coming too. she basically has to. oh my god, i'm positive i don't have the money for all this!!!
last night a ton of us went out to chili's and a new member suzie, who is great said she chose agd b/c of erica. she said that erica was the most "real" person she talked to all wekk b/c she said, "yeah so i pretty much don't have anything else to ask you." lol. that's very erica! ;) it was really sweet.
anyway, i'm trying to make this shit long so i can post it and leave!!!. pledgeing ceremony in one hour. i'm out in 30 minutes. do i have enough time to eat my late plate and get ready? i hope so. i have to go to the bathroom but i'm pretty sure i'm not supposed to leave the front desk unattended.
pepper steak and egg noodles for dinner. can't wait. noodles on my tongue tongue, yippie yippie yum yum!!! goodie goodie pepper steak, eat it with a rake, rake, wish it were funfetti cake, cake. yeah ok i'll stop.
