I swell with the tides, I creep with the ivy
I ascend the night sky with the moon
I walk with the clouds and I swim with the swallows
I’m September, and April, and June.
I open my face to the sky and the sea
I dig my toes into the dirt
I climb among rocks, disregarding the danger
I know that I’ll come through unhurt.
I place trust in my senses and give all to fate
I cannot control how I fall
I thrive on the notion that I’ve got a chance
To be part of it all
