Radiation does not glow. Uranium does not glow. Zinc Sulfide, with a copper activator, glows radioactive green.

Yay science!

And for what it's worth, I can't find pictures on the Internet of the Curie's lab equipment glowing. Perhaps that was only as they were using it, (Cherenkov radiation,) as the main reference point for that is Irène Joliot-Curie's memoirs.
