It's like having a full-time job, only during my lunch break, I have to travel across town

My day so far: Left for work #2 at 6h50 this morning. Grabbed a greasy coffee from a convenience store. Route there involved a bus to the south end, then a connecting cab to work

Left there at 11h25 -- Should have left earlier, but I was trying to piece a computer back together before I went.

I saw my bus turn the corner at Landsdowne, heading up Ashburnham (marked 7B on that map) just as I was approaching. Seeing as the busses only run every half hour to 45 minutes, I tightened up my shoes and half walked, half jogged the rest of the way.

So yeah, my two jobs are ~5 km apart. Somehow, I managed to make it to the literacy centre right about when I would have got there coming from home.

For future reference:

  1. Peterborough transit bites.
  2. I apparently could have got a cab to a bus stop.
  3. This is a very long way to walk when you're worried about being late.
