summer reading
My summer reading program starts on monday and I hope I've got everything ready for it. As my first summer reading and the first summer reading for teens at Seneca, it should be an interesting week. The other children's librarian who used to run the program hasn't been very helpful so I really hope I got everything together.
The theme is outer space and I know I have the aliens covered. We got to giant inflatable aliens to decorate the library with. I had to take them across the street to get them blown up and then carried them back to the library. One of the aliens comes up to my shoulder and today was windy so that made for an interesting sight (the library is also on the busiest street in town...I mean the only real street in town.)
