disliking group work
I think all they make us do in Library school is work in groups. My guess is that most of the teachers are too lazy to grade an enite class worth of papers and figure that they will have less to grade is we all work in groups.
One of the many groups I'm in this semester though has many problems right now. We have a very simple assignment due this wed but thanks to one group member saying sure they will compile all our information we gathered into the report (which only has to be 3 pages and she didn't have to get any of the information) and then not getting in touch with the group for almost a week makes things difficult. Now the rest of us have to start writing the report with no clue what's she's done (if anything). I hate this. If someone says they will take responsibility for something they should do it or at least let the rest of your group know why. Come on, we are in grad school you would assume that she had some level of intellegance.
I feel a little better not that I've ranted about my group member for making the rest of us do her share last minute. Now it's time for me to get back to picking up her slack.
